Emblation Appoints Medical Affairs Advisors

STIRLING, Scotland and LINCOLN, R.I., October 6, 2026 — Emblation, the company behind the innovative SwiftProâ microwave therapy system, today announced the appointment of four Medical Affairs Advisors, bringing together distinguished clinicians and podiatry experts who will contribute their experience and perspectives to the company’s clinical education initiatives for its SwiftPro® medical device. SwiftPro recently received FDA 510(k) clearance for the treatment of common and plantar warts.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with these distinguished clinicians,” said Ian Stevens, Chief Executive Officer of Emblation. “Their expertise and experience will be invaluable as we continue to expand peer-to-peer educational initiatives and support the effective use of SwiftPro.”

Unlike traditional wart treatments that damage or surgically remove infected tissue, SwiftPro uses HeatBeat™ microwave therapy to alert the body’s immune system to the viral infection, helping it recognize and fight the virus naturally. As the immune response clears the underlying viral infection, the associated skin lesion is resolved as well. By contrast, traditional treatments physically destroy or excise the wart, but do so without eliminating the underlying virus, which can contribute to recurrence.

The Medical Affairs Advisors will facilitate peer-to-peer educational support, providing clinical perspectives and practical insights to help clinicians optimize their use of SwiftPro. Guidance will also be provided on the use of Swiftscope™, the companion app that enables enhanced visualization, treatment documentation and monitoring of patient progress.
